The Holy Year 2025 and its meaning

The Holy Year is a tradition of the Catholic Church, which is called up every 25 years by the respective Pope. In 2023 the Holy Year was under the lead word "Pilgrims of Hope". For many believers, it is a valuable way to rediscover their own spirituality and connect with others. In addition to the pilgrimage service in Dresden, there are numerous events and offers, such as special trade fairs and pilgrimages in other dioceses that are under the motto "Pilgrims of Hope", for example in the diocese of Aachen.

In Aachen, regular measurements take place every first Saturday of the month. The Eucharistic worship is also offered there at fixed times. There are a variety of offers that help the believers to accompany themselves spiritually in the Holy Year.
