Dresden on alert: Blitz hits the Haus in Trachauer!
In the early morning hours of June 23, 2025, Bolivarstraße in Dresden Trachau became the scene of a dramatic thunderstorm. A flash hit the roof structure of an apartment building and immediately set it on fire. Fortunately, the residents were able to leave the building in good time and alert the fire brigade. at 6:47 a.m., when the fire brigade arrived, the flames already beat out of the roof, and dense smoke development was visible. The emergency services immediately directed the external fire -fighting attack with a turntable ladder and removed roof tiles in order to cope with the fire. High -performance fans were also used to transport the smoke out of the building. Tragically, a smoldering fire was found under the roof skin in the course of the control with a thermal imaging camera, which spread further. The fire brigade then had additional forces mobilized to extinguish more specifically and open more areas of the roof. The smoke development increased again, which temporarily complicated.

Pieschen were deployed. The B service and U service were also on site, luckily there were no injuries to complain. Bolivarstraße is currently completely closed and there are considerable traffic restrictions throughout the environment. Drivers are asked to bypass the area in order not to hinder the rescue measures.
