Last Friday and Sunday there was a colorful spectacle in the Football Vogtland Cup. A total of 32 matches were fought for a place in the second main round. The games, which were scheduled for this weekend because of the back-to-school celebrations, mainly resulted in high victories for the favorites. Great victories and exciting duels
Some teams particularly stood out in terms of results. VfB Großfriesen celebrated an impressive victory over SV Concordia Plauen with a clear 13-0. SpG Bergen/Tirpersdorf/Werda II also left a lasting impression with a 13-0 win against VfB Plauen Nord. But the other results also caused a stir: 1. FC Rodewisch II beat FSV Bau Weischlitz 3-1, while VFC Adorf defeated VfB Plauen Nord 3-1.
There were also some close matches that were hard to beat in terms of drama. SpG Irfersgrün II/SG Rotschau II managed to win 5-2 against VfL Reumtengrün after extra time. Also surprising was the victory of VFC Plauen II, which defeated SC Syrau II 5:2, while the game between SG Limbach and SV Morgenröthe Rautenkranz resulted in an exciting 4:2.
