Improvisation theater and music: Kulturhafen Dresden inspires in November!
The Kulturhafen Dresden, located at Leisniger Straße 53, has put together an exciting and varied program for the coming November 2025. The focus is on the creative minds of the improv theater group Yes or never!, which offer numerous events, workshops and musical evenings. It starts on November 1st with a puppet theater called Zvoneček, followed by an improv comedy show that is guaranteed to get a laugh.
A real highlight in the program is the open improv evening “Wine & Games” on November 4th, which brings young and old together. On November 7th, an exciting Theatersport™ performance awaits visitors, providing unpredictable entertainment.
A variety of workshops and special events
On November 8th and 9th, the workshop “Punk’s not dead” will be offered under the direction of Sara Šoukal, which is aimed at all creative minds who want to discover improvisation for themselves. In the same breath, there will be another improv comedy show on November 8th. November 13th will be dedicated to an open improv dialogue in the “Improsandkasten” course, which welcomes anyone interested.
On November 14th, the Freie Spielkultur will show its guest performance “Improstory”. Especially for beginners, there is an improv theater course on November 15th and 16th that introduces you to the world of improvisational theater. A musical highlight awaits visitors on November 17th at 7:30 p.m. with the jazz session “SePiJa” and the talented musician René Bornstein.
Creative formats for every event
The program didn’t come about by chance. The improvisational theater group has set itself the goal of spreading improvisational theater in Saxony and making it available for various occasions. Whether birthday parties, weddings or school parties – the performers from Yes or never! create tailor-made shows that will delight guests. Formats such as “The First Kiss” or “My Life’s Dream” are particularly creative, in which the actors create improvised portrayals of the actors.
The improv crime thriller written by the group will be presented on November 21st, followed by another improv comedy show on November 22nd. On November 25th, the performance of the young ensemble “Little YESies” is on the program, an opportunity for the next generation to present their talents.
