The allotment garden association (KGV) Rudolphia in Dresden has planned some exciting autumn activities for the coming days that will delight both young and old. A Reformation Day celebration will take place on Thursday, October 31st, from 4 p.m. Here, visitors can look forward to a festive atmosphere with pumpkins, stands by the Fiatelle brass band and delicious mulled wine for the adults. In the spirit of Halloween, there will also be a spooky celebration with ghosts, stick bread made from stick dough and the famous witchcraft. The little guests don't miss out either: they can be transformed into little monsters with make-up, while a lantern parade creates a festive atmosphere.
For all those who want to compete in a friendly atmosphere, a skat tournament will be held on November 23rd. This event is open to all ages and genders, with the number of participants limited to 40 people. The entry fee is 5 euros and the distribution of cards starts at 1 p.m., after a concentration phase at 12.30 p.m. The tournament not only offers the opportunity to compete with other Skat players, but also to awaken ambition and perhaps win some winnings Skat.de reports that ....
Dates and competitions
Another highlight of the KGV Rudolphia is the blitz chess tournament on December 14th, which is also open to anyone interested. Kick-off starts at 1 p.m. and a participation fee of 5 euros must be paid. Certificates, medals or trophies are distributed for the most successful athletes. At all of these events, the focus is on fun.
The KGV event takes place at Bärnsdorfer Straße 114 in Dresden, and access via Bärwalder Straße is recommended. These activities are not only an excellent opportunity to show off your playful skills, but also promote social interaction in the region.
