After the successful operation in which the esophagus had to be completely removed, the recovery process for Heinz is lengthy. For the time being, he will have to rely on artificial nutrition and will have to be patient, as Annika emphasized.

“He is afraid, but also has a strong will to live,” said Annika, who was at his side on the day of the operation and could trust in the support of the doctors. Their support during this difficult time is also reflected in their public gratitude. After the procedure, she thanked the doctors and the hospital team for their excellent work on Instagram.

The two have already said yes twice - the first marriage took place in 2019, the second took place on the picturesque island of Sylt.
