Construction work in Johannstadt: Hans-Grundig-Straße becomes a one-way street!

From next week it will be uncomfortable on the street in the Johannstadt, a district of Dresden. Comprehensive construction work for renewing the district heating system on Hans-Grundig-Straße begins on June 16. Saxon energy has adopted the project and will repair the dilapidated underground chambers. The walls, ceiling slabs and supports are refreshed to secure the supply of residents with district heating. The construction costs amount to around 350,000 euros and the completion is planned for October. The Hans-Grundig-Straße between Dürerstraße and Holbeinstrasse is explained during the work on the one-way street, which is a new challenge, especially for car traffic. Track drivers will have to switch to Gerokstrasse from Monday, while bus line 62 will change their route via Silbermannstrasse in order to take the changes into account.
