Top Festival 2025: Plauen dances to heaven with The Robbie Experience!

On June 22, 2025, the 64th Plauen Lace Festival reaches its climax. In Plauen the city is blossoming, while everything revolves around a colorful program and culinary delights. The Altmarkt will become a stage this evening when the legendary tribute show “The Robbie Experience” performs. This show is considered the ultimate for Robbie Williams fans across Europe and will wow the crowds at 8:15 p.m. But before that, visitors can experience the Plauen band “Final Selection” from 6:15 p.m., which sets the mood and gets people in the mood for the big show. The evening promises an energetic atmosphere with many highlights.

The anticipation is palpable! “The Robbie Experience” has already made a name for itself in the TV show “The Tribute” on the private broadcaster Sat 1 and will certainly offer an unforgettable experience. Meanwhile, the Altmarkt lights up in bright colors thanks to the light art spectacle under the motto “The Lace Festival Shines”. The LED show “Entourage Berlin” will fascinate visitors with glowing costumes and holographic projections.

A celebration for everyone!

As part of the top festival from June 20th to 22nd, Plauen will be transformed into a festival mile for the entire family. The varied program has something for everyone: from rap to techno, world music, rock and pop to punk and heavy metal. On Friday evening there were numerous live concerts on the Altmarkt and parties on Postplatz. The Latin music festival “Sol de Mañana” on Dobenaustraße brought Latin American flair to the city.

The “Spitz’nKidz” family festival offers a variety of attractions, especially for the little festival visitors, which include over 40 play and creative stations on Saturday. Musically, things will also be exciting here with the performance of the children's punk band Jonny Karacho, who will present their new song “Spitz'nKidz”.

Culinary delights and more

The festival's gourmet miles tempt with an international selection of dishes - from regional grilled bites to exotic snacks such as street food. The gastronomic offerings make the festival a true feast for the senses. In addition, the beach party under the motto “Beatz, Tequila and Sandpitsche” at Theaterplatz creates a holiday atmosphere.

The weekend is rounded off by a gala in the Vogtlandtheater, the “Top Party” and a big final fireworks display at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. There is a ban on glass bottles for street visitors during the festival to increase safety. The Plauen tram also offers extended timetables so that everyone can get to the festivities safely.
