Burglary in Dresden: Electronics and cash stolen – police are investigating!
On the night of Thursday, October 24, 2025, there was a break-in at a commercial building on Friedrichstrasse, Dresden-Friedrichstadt. According to initial information from the Saxon newspaper The perpetrators gained access by forcefully opening a back door. They then broke open several office doors and stole numerous items, including tablets, cell phones, cameras, laptops, a coffee machine and a cash box. The total damage is currently unknown.
The investigators were able to get a crucial clue that led to a 31-year-old man from Riesa. During a search of his apartment, officers found parts of the stolen goods. However, it is still unclear whether this man was directly involved in the break-in and is the subject of intensive investigations.
