Pure art and culture: Viathea Festival inspires Görlitz in June!
In the coming week there will be exciting cultural highlights in and around Dresden. The anticipation for the Viathea festival in Görlitz is growing, which of 26. until June 28th . Here a colorful mix of mixing from art and theater is presented by talented creators from all over Europe. The beautiful ambience of the Görlitz city park and the historic backdrops of the old town form the perfect framework for this spectacle, which will inspire both locals and tourists. The program booklet, which is available for the financial support of the festival, also offers the opportunity to experience the colorful events free of charge. At the same time, the dance theater "Chotto Desh" by the well -known choreographer Akram Khan will be shown in the Hellerau Festival House in Dresden. The performance takes place on 13. June and 14. June each at 7 p.m. . With a duration of 60 minutes without a break, the piece addresses cultural origin and diversity in a unique and touching way. This event promises to become an absolute highlight and to take the viewers on an emotional journey.

But that's far from everything that the Dresden cultural scene has to offer. On 18. June The performance "drug fist" is performed on the Bürgerbühne in the State Theater in Dresden. This staging deals with drugs and searches, inspired by Goethe's masterpiece "Faust". The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and takes 85 minutes without a break. Here the audience can look forward to an exciting examination of complex topics.
As a further attractive program item, the Dresden State Operetta offers the music theater production "Die Bajadere". On 8. June at 7:30 p.m. and on 9. June at 3 p.m. this masterpiece is performed by Emmerich Kálmán. With a total duration of 170 minutes, including a break, the operetta takes the audience into the world of Indian temple dancers and their unique representation in European culture.
