Dynamo Dresden is in the middle of preparations for the coming season in the 2nd Bundesliga. The newcomer has clear goals and is working intensively on the new team. So far, only left-back Alexander Rossipal (28) has been signed. Sports director Thomas Brendel emphasizes the importance of a stable axis that must be filled with reliable players in order to be able to survive in the second highest German league.
Central defense requires particular attention, where at least one central defender should be hired. Depending on the situation surrounding loan professional Andi Hoti (22) from 1. FC Magdeburg, there could even be two new additions. But the negotiations for Hoti could prove to be complicated as there is no new head coach at FCM yet.
Defensive and attacking plans
Dynamo also has to look for a new right-back after the departure of Jonas Sterner (23). Paul Lehmann (20) could be loaned out, while Jan-Hendrik Marx (30) is not considered a real alternative. A challenger for Vinko Sapina (29) is being sought in central midfield as the demands in the 2nd Bundesliga are high. There is also a need for action on the offensive: In addition to Christoph Daferner (27), another striker is to be brought in. Stefan Kutschke (36) is planned as a “breaker”, but Robin Meißner (25) does not have an easy time securing a place.
To complete the squad planning, Dynamo also needs a new replacement goalkeeper to support regular goalkeeper Tim Schreiber (23).
