Dynamo Dresden breaks sales record: over 8 million euros in sight!

There is reason to be happy in the Dresden football scene: SG Dynamo Dresden is reporting record-breaking sales in the areas of merchandising and marketing. After the 2024/2025 season, which was particularly successful for the black and yellow, total sales of over 8 million euros are expected for Merchandising GmbH. That's a huge increase of around 1.5 million euros compared to the previous season, according to the club's website Dynamo Dresden reported.

The club apparently owes its dizzying rise to several factors. The rise, the wide range of fan items and the stationary trade in the branches have made a decisive contribution to the increase in sales. Particularly impressive: around 19,000 jerseys sold this season represent an increase of 15 percent and set a historical record.

Marketing and sponsorship on the rise

But the good news doesn't stop there. In the marketing area, SG Dynamo achieved a new record of 11.5 million euros - 13 percent more than in the previous season. The eight-person team at SPORTFIVE, the club's marketer, not only delivered excellent results but also negotiated several important partnerships. The contract with the main sponsor ALL-INKL.COM was extended until 2028 and the new supplier JAKO has also made a long-term commitment.

Not to be forgotten: Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden takes on the role of the main partner for e-football, the women's team and the young talent. Radeberger and SachsenEnergie are also staying at the club's side and have extended their contract as stadium namesakes. In the stadium itself, a record occupancy rate of an average of 1,400 guests per home game was reported in the VIP area. As you can see, the club cares deeply about supporting its partners, and the number of around 500 sponsors and contractual partners underlines this impressively.

Diverse opportunities for sponsors

The opportunities that Dynamo Dresden offers its sponsors are diverse. With up to 30,000 spectators per home game and a strong “cult character”, the club has both emotional value and high reach, which is of great interest to brands wanting to increase their awareness. Dynamo Dresden emphasizes that sponsorship is seen here as the basis for innovative communication tools that create synergy effects that are difficult to achieve with traditional advertising.

Football is more than just a sport; it creates experiences, addresses different target groups and connects tradition with the future. The multimedia and experience-oriented measures implemented at Dynamo are particularly popular with viewers.
