A football dream came true for SV Weitensfeld on June 7, 2025. In the 22nd round of 2nd Class C they celebrated an impressive 8-0 victory over SG ASKÖ Wölfnitz/ASV 1b and thus ensured a shooting festival on home soil. Anyone who witnessed the game on the pitch saw a team that dominated from the first minute and never let their opponents calm down.
Adrian Schindler was the superstar of the game and contributed significantly to the success. He opened the scoring in the 17th minute after an exemplary assist from Pechmann. In the 40th minute he was there again and increased the score to 2-0. Shortly before halftime, Prodinger had to make it 3-0 with a header, giving Weitensfeld a comfortable lead.
Second section brings more hits
The second half started with the same enthusiasm. Just two minutes after the restart, Prodinger increased the score to 4-0. Johannes Stromberger sparked another celebration in the 50th minute when he made it 5-0. But that wasn't enough for Schindler: In the 77th minute he scored his hat trick and made it 6-0. Kämper added the score to 7-0 in the 83rd minute, before Schindler put the finishing touches to an outstanding performance with his fourth goal in the 88th minute.
The entire team played a strong game and gave the guests from Wölfnitz no chance to fight their way back into the game. This dominance was evident not only through Schindler's goals, but also through the tireless efforts of all players. SV Weitensfeld impressively shows that they are very popular in KTN football and have established themselves as serious opponents in the league statistics.
