Pharmacies between retaxation crises and digital opportunities: act now!
Johannstadt, Deutschland - On June 18 at 8 p.m. it will be exciting for the pharmacy industry: The webinar "Gamechanger Retax prevention" goes online and deals with a topic that is very interested in many pharmacists-the retaxations. These not only represent time -eating, but are also a real nerve war and economic risk for many pharmacies. Pharmacy adhoc reports of the webinar series "Initiative Finanzen", which is led by Sven Lobeda (pharmacist) and Matthias Loos (Noventi).
retaxations are legitimate test funds in healthcare, but their current form has a massive burden on the pharmacies. Unclear rules and outdated systems often lead to defensive reactions on the part of the pharmacists. The webinar not only offers insights from everyday pharmacy, but also strategies and tools to avoid retax losses. Above all, recognizing structural errors is of central importance. Because only those who create transparency and expand their digital know-how can deal with these challenges better in the future.
digitization as an opportunity
The digital transformation does not come to rest in healthcare either. According to the Bavarian State Pharmacist Chamber (Blak) and the North Rhine Pharmacist Chamber of Pharmacists (AKNR), the industry is looking forward to new digital health treatments (Digas). These should improve the care of patients.
A current position paper underlines Blak that solid pharmaceutical and medical foundations is important in Digas. Despite promising results in the Diga market, however, stagnation in the number of users is shown. A AKNR pilot project has already shown the added value of the pharmacies in diga therapies. The pharmacies must be included in the diga integration to secure the patient benefit and the adherence for therapy.
trust as an essential factor
The pharmacies benefit their direct relationship with the patients. They enjoy their trust and therefore have a valuable contribution to the supply of digital therapeutic agents. Dr. Andreas Ziegler from Blak emphasizes this. Blak's position paper also addresses both opportunities and risks in the field of diga supply and the added value that the on-site pharmacy can offer.
The demand for promoting digital health care via local pharmacies is getting louder. Their involvement in local health networks should significantly improve patient's loyalty to therapy.
