Creative work in the heart of Leipzig
Susanne's creative process is as unique as her works. She starts her working day almost every day at 8:30 a.m. in a shared artist studio that offers space for around ten artists. She really appreciates the structure that this place brings; She is a true “creature of habit” and finds that fixed rituals help her stay focused. The artist currently has two major exhibitions coming up. After her presentation in Reichenbach, she will be in Nuremberg with the artist in SeptemberOscar Rinkcooperate. The instructions are often not specific - for example "no longer use tape" or "large abstract area in black" - and are intended to help you question your usual work routines and gain new perspectives on your own work.
The culmination of the project will be a joint work on a large painting, although its completion remains uncertain until the exhibition opens. In October Susanne will present her current works, including some new drawings, in Cologne.
