The event, organized by committed volunteers, is free of charge and inspires its visitors with more than 255 program items and over 250 artists. A real festival for all the senses! Friday evening in particular becomes a highlight with the “Krachwitz” program, featuring DJs such as Miss Clara and Fabian Girard. The DJs will heat the mood on Fidelio-F.-Finke-Strasse from 6 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.

For friends of art and crafts, the opportunity also offers the various stands on Friday evening to explore the various stands at a handicraft market in Fidelio-F.-Finke-Straße between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Large is also offered on Saturday: from 9 a.m. there will be offered in the open yoga, followed by a varied stage program in the evening with Tom Atlas and Rico Löwe. arrival and parking spaces

So that the journey to the Elbe slope festival runs smoothly, various options are available. The guests bring the tram and buses comfortably to the Schillerplatz, Körnerplatz and Hermann-Seidel-Straße stops. If you like it a little more romantic, you can use the mountain railways: the funicular runs on the first day of the festival from 6.30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., the suspension railway from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. For ferry lovers there are connections from Niederpoyritz to Laubegast and from Pillnitz to Kleinzschachwitz.

However, drivers should be careful: parking facilities are rather in short supply in the festival area. It is therefore recommended to switch to the parking spaces in Pillnitz Gleisschleife, Golden Lion and the Schillergalerie underground car park. Anyone who parks unjustifiably on the festival site must expect towing.

special attractions

The Elbe slope festival is much more than a simple street festival. It is a community work and combines over 60 private initiatives, including clubs, artists and craftsmen. The various musical performances and culinary delights are particularly noteworthy. Spanish guitar music and organ sound can be heard on several stages. There is also a lot to offer for the children: admission for everyone to 18 years is free. This year's motto "in front of the seven mountains" also leaves space for creative development.

On Saturday evening, visitors should not miss the opportunity to see the German premiere "Moiré Experience" in Loschwitz or to experience the appearances of "La fanfaria del Capitan" and the "Dresden Hepcats". A handicraft market will create a mood both in Loschwitz and Pillnitz. A wine village is held at Pillnitz Castle, and a final concert attracts in the vineyard church.
