Dobritz and Hellerau celebrate: 6-1 victory in the city league!

The 10th matchday of the Dresden Football City Oberliga took place today, October 26, 2025, and there were some exciting duels on the program. Eintracht Dobritz and VfB Hellerau-Klotzsche celebrated clear victories and strengthened their positions in the middle of the table.

Eintracht Dobritz was in top form and impressively defeated SG Weißig 6:1. The spectators saw a convincing game in which Dobritz was already leading 3-0 at halftime. The goals were scored by Bryan Nießen, Eddie Czernek and Tommy Winkler. After the break, the Dobritz team stepped up and found the net again through Fabian Franke, Leon Edelmann and Benjamin Schöne. Jamain Prauß contributed the consolation goal for Weißig.

Hellerau-Klotzsche is flying high

On the other side of the city, VfB Hellerau-Klotzsche also achieved an equally convincing 6-1 win over Helios Dresden. The game started with a surprise when Helios took the lead - Christian Richter made it 1-0. But Hellerau-Klotzsche was undeterred and managed to equalize before halftime through Jona Benjamin Strobel. The Klotzscher really turned up the heat in the second half: Niklas Koch scored a hat trick and made a significant contribution to the win, while Jonathan Bernards and Emil Köhler contributed further goals. With this win, Hellerau-Klotzsche is in second place in the table.

After the game, coach Enrico Focke spoke of an unexpectedly aggressive style of play by the Helios players, which raised many questions for him. However, there was not only a lot going on on the field - there were also changes outside the game: Yunus Emre Yildirim went to Mainz to study for three years, while Till Weber is planning a stay abroad in Madrid. Toni Junghannß is retiring from sports and will be active in the senior team in the future.

Table at a glance

League leaders Wacker Leuben also remain on course for success and won 3-0 against Rotation Dresden. Tony Schmidt was the double goalscorer, Aaron Wartenberg made it 2-0. SpVgg Löbtau was also able to convince with a 3-0 win against FV Süd-West. Nico Hild, Stefan Schulz and Dario Franke found their way into the net.

The other end of the table has its own charm: TSV Cossebaude had to admit defeat 0-1 against SG Striesen II, with Brais Gonzalez Sousa scoring the decisive goal in the 40th minute. In addition, the team saw three yellow-red cards (Richard Hempel, Martin Wagner, Hans Michalk). The game between TSV Reichenberg-Boxdorf and Gebergrund Goppeln ended 1-1, with Reichenberg falling behind through Dennis Schröder, but being able to fight back through Christopher Krocker. Coach Sven Richter was satisfied with the point win and was optimistic for the coming games.
